Paleo Popsicles

I havent posted in over a month!

Im not a good Blogger...

It has been incredible warm here in Colorado and I have found a new Hobby: Making Popsicles.

I started very easy. I bought organic, unprocessed Apple-Pear Juice at Whole Foods and added them to Zipcicle bags which I had bought several months ago at World Market.

But today I decided to be a bit more creative and came up with the following:

Macha Green Tea

I basically made a Macha Green Tea  Latte with Almond Milk

1 Teaspoon Macha Powder
about 2 Tablespoons hot water
1 Cup Almond Milk
Sweetener to taste

1. Add Macha Powder to Cup and cover with hot water. Stir vigorously.

2. When and if you manage to dissolve all the tea add Sweetener and stir some more.

3. Add Milk and mix.

4. Add to Zipcicles and freeze for at least 4 Hours

Mango

1/2 Mango
1 Teaspoon Lemon Juice
1 Cup filtered Water

1. Cut Mango in Chunk and add to Blender or tall cup if you use an Emulsion Blender like I do (I used a Mason Jar)

2. Add Lemon Juice and Water, blend until smooth

3. Strain if you like, I did not and it has a different texture than Popsicles, more like a Smoothie

4. Add to Zipzicles (save half if you want to make the next recipe) and freeze for at least 4 Hours.

Mango Raspberry

1/2 of the Mango Mixture above
1/2 cup frozen Raspberries
1/4 Cup of Water
Sweetener to taste

1. Combine Mango Mixture, Raspberries and Water in Blender or preferred Vessel.

2. Blend until smooth.

3. Add sweetener if needed. This depends on the sweetness of the Raspberries. Blend some more.

4. Strain, if preferred, or enjoy "Smoothie Popcicles"

5. Add to Zipcicles and freeze for at least 4 Hours.

Peanut Butter & Jelly

now this one is a bit crazy and due to the Peanuts not Paleo approved. WF was out of Almond Butter which is most likely a great substitute if you live Paleo.
But it is my husbands favorite flavor and since I used Whole Foods unsalted PB it is somewhat healthy anyway (it seriously only contains Peanuts!).

1 Cup Almond Milk
1/2 Cup Peanut Butter
1/2 Cup Raspberries
1 Teaspoon Sea Salt
Sweetener if needed

1. Combine Milk, Peanut Butter, Raspberries and Salt in Blender or preferred Vessel.

2. Blend until Smooth.

3. Add sweetener if needed. This depends on the sweetness of the Raspberries. Blend some more.

4. Strain, if Peanut Butter was on the chunky side

5. Add to Zipcicles and freeze for at least 4 Hours.
