I just spent a good amount of time reading my old blog and have decided that copying the entries over here is a waste of time.
I will start over, with an all new blog!
And will add old pictures and stories as I go.

In fact, the hubby and I came across a TV show today about beach front properties and this Episode was about South Padre Island in Texas.
I had been there during my time as an Au Pair.
It's a story a lot of my friends have heard. My host family decided to go for a horse back ride on the beach and I got a real charmer!
My horse kept biting the one of a guide and eventually they got into a real fight with kicking and I had a huge bruise to tell the tale.
It was also the only place we ever encountered racism.
We tried to grab a quick lunch but weren't allowed in because my Au Pair kids are African American.
It shocked and still shocks me that people can't move on.
but then again, it only happened once in those 18 months.
Another thing about this trip I remember, is the humidity on that Island. All my pictures look like this one:
